Meet Kelsey, Owner of Beyond The Mane Studio + Founder of Ruhe Hair Care I’m Kelsey — a mama, entrepreneur, full-time student, woman of faith, and the heart behind Beyond The Mane Studio and Ruhe Hair Care. When I created Beyond The Mane in 2017, my mission was simple: to help women feel beautiful and confident with healthy, vibrant hair — because great hair always starts at the roots. Over the last 16 years, specializing in blondes and color, I saw a huge gap in the industry when it came to client care and healthy hair practices. That pushed me to focus on a different approach — one that prioritizes scalp care, healthy hair foundations, and stunning color results that last. In 2023, after becoming a mom and experiencing postpartum hair loss, I was inspired to create Ruhe, a natural hair care line designed to support hair growth, repair, and scalp health — especially for women navigating postpartum and other seasons of life. Today, I’m not just about creating beautiful hair — I’m passionate about empowering women to feel good from the inside out. Whether it’s through color, cuts, or helping clients with their hair journey at home, I’m here to educate, uplift, and bring real results. Cancellation Policy
Dear Client,
We strive to render excellent care to you and the rest of our clients. Your care and treatment is a priority for us. We also ask that you respect your stylist's time and expertise as well.
In an attempt to be consistent with this, we have a Cancellation Policy that allows us to schedule appointments for our clients, with respect for your time, the next client's time, and the stylist’s time.
Our policy is as follows:
We request that you give a notice not later than 72 hours prior your scheduled appointment in the event that you can not make it.
If the client misses an appointment without contacting us, it is considered a missed or "No Show" appointment, all no shows result in a charge of the total service fee at the 15th minute of 95% the service total.
Additionally, if a client is more than 7 minutes late for an appointment, it will be considered as "No Show" appointment, and that appointment will be cancelled.
We have a no children and no guest policy, if you show up with children or a guest your appointment will be forfeited and considered a ‘No Show’
We understand you may change your mind when booking but keep in mind, if booked for a large color service - and decide you only would like a haircut or color refresh you are responsible for the cancellation fee - the same way a client would cancel within 72 hours of a service.
We understand some jobs even in 2023 May not approve of certain hair colors or maybe your partner has made comments and it has you second-guessing the color that you received. Unfortunately this is not like a store and we can’t return your hair because of ‘buyers remorse’ you would have to book a new appointment to change it. We always suggest asking your work prior to the service and being set on the color you desire.
Please keep in mind to be respectful of others, please bring headphones for your appointment + step out if a phone call is needed.
A $50+ based on the service booked non refundable deposit will be paid at time of making appointment and will be taken off at the time of the appointment for all new clients.

I have read and understand the Appointment Cancellation Policy, and I agree to be bound by its terms. I am aware that my credit card will be charged for the missed appointment, and I agree to this terms. If for any reason the payment fails you will be unable to book future appointments.
